The entire machine, spec'd to your workload
One physical server, single-tenant: every core, every gigabyte of RAM and every disk in it belongs to your workload. One configuration is published below at a published price. If you need something other than that configuration, we quote it.

Single tenancy
The hardware runs your workload only. Nobody else is scheduled onto the machine.
Full root access
It's your operating system. Install what you want, and take your data with you whenever you want — nothing here locks you in.
Billed monthly in advance
You pay for the coming month, then get service for that month. The same billing terms as the VPS tiers.
Set up by a person
We build and configure the machine by hand and send you the login details — there's no self-service console to fight with first.
Apps preinstalled, if you want
Anything in the open-source catalog can be installed and configured as part of setting the server up.

If you're moving off something else, our data migration team scopes the move before you commit.

Because a dedicated machine is physical hardware rather than a slice of one, we confirm the exact specification and the delivery date with you in writing before anything is charged. If you need a different configuration, tell us and we'll quote it.

Bandwidth
The same as every VPS tier: a 1 Gbit/s port and 20 TB of outbound (egress) traffic per month. Inbound is unmetered. Egress above the allowance is billed at $1 per TB.
Billing
Service is billed monthly in advance: you pay for the coming month, and then get service for that month. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
How ordering goes
Four steps, and you can stop at any of the first three.

Tell us the workload
What you're running, how much of it, where it needs to live, and anything that has to be single-tenant.

We spec it and quote it
A hardware specification and a monthly price, in writing, before any card is involved. If a VPS tier would do the job for less, we'll say so.

You approve it
Nothing is ordered, and nothing is charged, until you say yes to a specific spec at a specific price.

We build and hand over
We source the machine, set it up, install anything you asked for, and send you root credentials with the delivery date we agreed.
On timing: VPS orders placed through the configurator are provisioned within 24 hours. A dedicated machine is quoted first, and the delivery date is part of that quote — we'd rather give you a date we can hold than a slogan.
What we're not claiming
- One published configuration, not a catalog. The machine above is the one we have committed to stocking, and its price is on the page. We are not going to list CPU models and disk layouts we have not committed to — anything other than that configuration is quoted per order rather than picked off a list.
- No performance numbers. We haven't run reproducible benchmarks yet, so there are none on this page — see benchmarks for the current state of that.
- No uptime percentage. We don't have automated monitoring running yet, so we don't publish an uptime figure or an SLA number — see status.
Everything on this page that has a number attached to it — the VPS prices, the bandwidth allowance, the billing terms — is a published price or a term of our own service, not an estimate.
