SaaS savings calculator
What are your SaaS seats actually costing you?
Set your team size, tick the tools you pay for, and see the arithmetic: what those seats cost at list price, which open-source applications replace them, which Olympia server runs that set, and what the server costs.
Every per-seat figure below is either a published list price with a source link, or an estimate — labeled as one, beside the plan and billing period it came from and the date we read it. Olympia’s own price is neither: it is our published rate, and it is exact.

Tier is chosen from the apps you pick
Olympia’s price is the server. Moving your data across and running the software afterwards are separate services — see data migrations.
Take this estimate with you
Save your figures with us and a person will email this estimate over. The PDF opens straight away, so you have it in hand either way — you are never waiting on us for your own numbers.
What this number is, and what it isn’t
List prices only
Each figure is a vendor’s published price for the specific plan and billing term named next to it. It ignores volume and negotiated rates, non-profit and startup programs, partial-seat mixes, and any legacy plan you are grandfathered into. Where a plan is cheaper on an annual commitment, the price shown says which of the two it is. If you have a contract, your real number is on your invoice, not here.
Self-hosting is not free
The Olympia figure is the rent on a server. It is not the cost of running these applications. Installing them, upgrading them, patching them, taking backups, watching them, and restoring them at 2am when something breaks is engineering time, and engineering time is money this calculator does not attempt to price. If nobody on your team wants that job, the honest comparison is the server plus a managed engagement — not the server on its own.
The tier is an estimate on top of estimates
Every sizing note in our app catalog already begins “Rough estimate”. Choosing one tier for a combination of apps is a further estimate on top of those. We size on the single heaviest app you selected and add nothing for running the rest alongside it, so treat the tier as a floor and a starting point for a conversation, not a specification.
Team size does not choose the server
Your seat count drives the left-hand column of the arithmetic and nothing else. We will not tell you that a given tier serves a given number of users, because that depends on the application and how you use it rather than on a vCPU count — and because a number like that would be advertising we cannot stand behind.
One server, not a cluster
The Olympia figure is one VPS running the whole selected stack. If you would rather separate the apps — a database on its own box, say — the cost is one tier price per server, and this page does not model that. Storage beyond the tier’s included disk is priced separately in the configurator.
What “estimated” means here
Some vendors will not hand you one clean number: they price by region, publish annual rates only, quote through a signup flow, or sell by company rather than by seat. For those we show a good-faith approximation, labeled Estimated, taken from the closest figure on the vendor’s own page — with the plan, the billing period and the date we read it printed beside it. It is an approximation, not a quote, and it is not the vendor’s published price for your account.
Our own price is not an estimate
The Olympia tier prices on this page are our published rates — exact, in US dollars, billed monthly in advance, with 20 TB of outbound transfer included. The only estimated thing on our side of the sum is which tier we suggest, and that is called out separately where we explain the choice.
Something wrong, or a tool missing? Tell us and we will fix the number or add the source. If you want a figure that reflects your actual invoices rather than list prices, that is what the free migration assessment is for.
