SaaS migrations

Get your team off the subscription. We do the move.

Your team chat, your CRM, your team drive, your accounting package — or the whole platform you feel stuck on. Tell us what you pay for it now. We put a savings number in writing, free and without a card, and if it's worth doing, our team does the migration itself: app, data, DNS.

SaaS tools

What we move you off

Software you rent per person, per month, forever. We move the team, the data and the integrations onto something you own outright and pay a flat server bill for.

Your team chat

Slack and the rest, priced per seat regardless of who actually posts. Message history export, channel and workspace mapping, bot and integration rewiring onto a self-hosted alternative (e.g. Mattermost or Zulip).

Your CRM

HubSpot or Salesforce, priced against team size rather than deal volume. Contacts, deals and pipeline stages moved across, integrations rewired onto a self-hosted or flat-fee alternative (e.g. EspoCRM or SuiteCRM).

Your team drive

Dropbox, Box or Google Drive, where the bill grows with both headcount and storage. Bulk file transfer, permission and sharing-link remapping, sync clients rolled out onto self-hosted storage (e.g. Nextcloud or OpenCloud).

Your scheduling

Calendly, Acuity and the rest, billed per seat for a tool most of the team opens twice a week. Event types, availability rules and booking pages rebuilt on a self-hosted alternative (e.g. Cal.com or Easy!Appointments). Booking links have to be reissued — nobody lets us keep them.

Your helpdesk

Zendesk or Intercom, per agent plus add-ons, on the tool your support team lives in. Ticket and conversation history, macros, canned replies and inbound mail routing onto a self-hosted alternative (e.g. Chatwoot or Zammad).

Your accounting package

Chart of accounts, contacts, historical invoices and open balances onto a self-hosted alternative (e.g. Bigcapital or SolidInvoice). This is the one we most often advise against: payroll, tax filing and any regulated trust or client account normally stay where they are, and we say so in the assessment rather than afterwards.

Replacement tools are examples, not commitments — the right one is decided with you, and the full catalog is on the applications page.

The whole platform

Stuck on one suite that does everything?

Some teams are not paying for six tools — they are paying for one platform that swallowed all six, and leaving means unpicking chat, files, CRM and billing at the same time. We do those as a single sequenced move: what leaves first, what runs in parallel, what gets cut over last, and what stays behind for good. You get that sequence in writing before anything is touched.

Running something that isn't listed here? It is still worth an email. Most of the work is the same job wearing a different logo.

Off usage-based hosting bills

A smaller part of what we do, and a different shape of problem: a bill that scales with traffic instead of headcount.

  • Vercel — function-invocation, bandwidth and edge-request billing that scales faster than traffic. Usually rebuilt as a containerized service behind your own reverse proxy, with static assets on object storage.
  • Railway — usage-based compute pricing that scales unpredictably with traffic. Already container-based, so often the fastest move.
  • AWS, Google Cloud and Azure — a maze of line items (EC2 + EBS + data transfer + NAT gateway, and their equivalents) nobody has fully audited, plus committed-use discounts and enterprise agreements that may already lock you in. We check those before quoting, because a savings number that ignores them is wrong.

How it works

You can stop after step two and keep the number.

01

Tell us your stack

What you're running, where it's hosted, and what it costs you now.

02

We quote the savings

A real number, in writing, and what the move itself involves and costs. Free, no card, no obligation.

03

Order your server

Configure the tier that fits the quote and check out. It's provisioned within 24 hours of your order.

04

We do the move

App, data and DNS, on a window agreed with you. We tell you the timeline in writing before you commit to it.

Free

The assessment and the quote

No charge, no card, no obligation. You get a savings number you can check against your own invoices whether or not you ever buy a server from us.

Agreed up front

The migration itself

Scoped with you before anything starts: what moves, what doesn't, how long it takes and what it costs. Nothing about the move is charged as a surprise afterwards.

Your server itself is priced the same as anyone else's: a flat monthly VPS tier from $4.99/mo to $89.99/mo, or a dedicated machine quoted to your workload. Billed monthly in advance.

What we'll tell you before you commit

  • How much history actually comes across. That depends on what your current provider lets you export, not on how good our tooling is. We check it and tell you before you commit — not after.
  • Whether it's worth doing at all. If the numbers don't work, the honest answer is "stay where you are", and you'll get that answer for free.
  • What the timeline really is. Complex moves take longer. We put the window in writing rather than quoting an average that doesn't apply to you.

Moving data out of one SaaS tool and into another is a related but narrower job — see assisted data portability. Want the bandwidth arithmetic behind a usage-billing move? That's on the migrations page.
